Oak Tree Financial Training is an independent training company.

Philip Clegg, CEO

With over 35 years’ experience in financial services, including major blue chip institutions, Philip has a wealth of knowledge to draw on.

Furthermore, having worked as an independent financial advisor and as a member of the Institute of Professional Will Writers, he is firmly in touch with all ongoing developments in his industry including investment markets and pensions. His main motivation, however, is to help others by channelling his professional insight and guidance into clear, accessible financial education. In this way, Phil is doing his bit to help ensure the UK has a growing number of financially aware employees.

Tony Close, Senior Trainer

Tony’s 40 plus years of experience in financial services come mainly from life and pensions.

He’s been executive director of two leading UK life insurance companies, as well as CEO for a major insurance company in the Far East. Tony has also been a board member of the Life Insurance Marketing Association, with a special interest in training. He is a Fellow of the Life Insurance Association.

With this broad experience, Tony has amassed a formidable amount of knowledge, which he eagerly, and accessibly, conveys to others as Oak Tree’s Senior Trainer.

Victoria Frahill-Jones, Senior Administrator

Victoria is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of Oak Tree Financial Training from behind the scenes. She has over 25 years of customer service experience and ensures our training courses are delivered seamlessly for all of our clients.

When she’s not organising our training courses and helping our customers, Victoria enjoys nothing more than sitting down with a good book and a glass of red wine, she also enjoys socialising with friends and she loves travelling, but only when we let her escape from the office, which isn’t too often.
